ASLAUG was built as a „sail-away“ in 2006 and was certified for the Rhine. Subsequently several test trips were made, and she was relocated to France where the interior fit-out is being made by the builders, Arnild Barging Sàrl. They also undertook to have her CE certified in 2010 after having rectified several technical installations and implemented a number of missing issues.

 

At the same time the certification according to the new European regulations for inland waterways vessels (TRIWV) was carried out, also valid for the Rhine.

 

ASLAUG will thus be ready to start her travels on rivers and canals in Europe in mid-2012 after the final interior fit-out.
